Welcome to Panther City Quilting! I know how much work goes into planning and piecing your projects. I'd love to help you finish up those last few steps!
Please see below for the services I offer and how to estimate prices. Patterns for edge to edge quilting can be found here. Also, there are endless options online. If you find a pattern you love available from one of the many incredibly talented pattern designers out there, I'll happily split the cost of purchasing it for use with your project!

Edge to Edge Quilting
$0.025 per square inch​

Choose from one of the many designs here or split the cost of a new one

Measure the width and length of your quilt top in inches and multiply together to get the area. Then multiply by $0.025 to get the estimated cost. For example, for a 50" by 70" quilt top:: 50 x 70 = 3,500 square inches x $0.025 = $87.50 plus tax
**Minimum quilting charge is $45 -
Includes new needle for each project and Superior brand Omni thread in your choice of color

Free trimming of excess batting and backing fabric. (If you prefer to do it yourself, you can choose this option!)

I also have quality batting available here in my studio at prices comparable or less than what you find in store, and it may save you on shipping cost if you mail in your project. Click here for current batting options

Piecing backing will add $15 per seam.
If you choose to supply your own batting, please make sure it is "quilt shop quality." Batting isn't something you want to skimp on, as it really makes a difference in success of your quilting. I cannot accept Fairfield or Mountain Mist batting (can cause bearding on the back of the quilt and thickness of batting is not consistent) or loose polyfil. I also cannot accept any projects that have been spray basted.

T-Shirt Quilts
Machine Binding
$20 per t-shirt plus materials​​

Pricing includes prepping shirts, creating the quilt top, longarm quilting and machine binding. You will provide materials and receive a finished quilt back.

Customer provides cotton fabric for sashing, borders, backing and binding. I will provide threads and interfacing.

Additional charges for planning/assembling quilts with custom patterns; extra charges will be agreed upon before any work begins

Binding will be sewn to the back of the quilt first, then folded around and stitched to the front for a durable finish that holds up well to repeated washings.

I do not use the glue basting method to attach binding, only clips or pins.

I can also cut and piece together your binding for an additional $0.05 per linear inch. You provide the fabric, and I'll cut and piece 2.5" strips to make binding for you!

Hand-stitch Binding
$0.30 per linear inch

Binding will be machine stitched to the front of the quilt first, then folded around and hand stitched to the back. This shows no stitch line on the front and is my favorite finishing method for my own projects.

I do not use the glue basting method to attach binding- only clips or pins.

$0.30 per linear inch

Label edge will be ironed under 1/4" and then hand stitched to the back of your finished quilt.
